Peter is a senior research associate in the University of East Anglia’s Centre for Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences. He works primarily with ocean observations and re-analysis products to understand climate-relevant physical processes in shelf seas – particularly over the Northwest European and Antarctic continental shelves. As well as participating in sea-going research expeditions, he is a longstanding member of the UEA Glider Group and has contributed to ocean glider missions all around the world.
